What a chat looks like
My drawings look flat. How do I fix that?
Usually it is the values, the lights and darks. Pick one light source, then shade everything facing away from it. Try a single egg under a desk lamp: 15 minutes, pencil only.
Just one egg?
Just one. It teaches highlight, core shadow, reflected light and cast shadow in one simple shape. Tell me how it goes.
