What a chat looks like
Why does time slow down when you go fast?
Imagine a clock that ticks by bouncing light between two mirrors. On a fast train, the light has to travel a longer, slanted path, and light always moves at the same speed. So each tick takes longer.
So the person on the train feels slower?
No, for them everything feels normal. It is only when we compare clocks that we see theirs ran slower. Now, how would you say "the train is fast" in German?
